Description
Connecting RIS3 in Baltic Sea Region was the second S3 workshop organized by S3 Platform. The Priority Area Innovation of EU Strategy for Baltic Sea Region together with the Ministry of Economy of Lithuania to connect the RIS3 in the Baltic Sea Region. This workshop was organised jointly with international innovation conference Economy Transformation: Step into the Future in Vilnius hosted by the Ministry of Economy of Lithuania.
The event started with the conference dealing the issues of economic transformation, smart specialisation, inter-regional and transnational collaboration. The need to collaborate within research and innovation strategies for smart specialisation was underlined with the aim to maximize the synergies in the BSR.
