There is a particular emphasis on sharing EU experience and expertise, to support capacity building and raising awareness. While sharing EU experience with external partners, these activities can also yield valuable lessons and insights for the EU.In the Asia-Pacific region, specific collaborations have been developed with the government of Thailand and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), while a specific pilot activity has been implemented in Australia.
