Description
This training workshop series was organised in the framework of the project “Targeted Support to Smart Specialisation strategies in Romania” (2016-2020), coordinated by JRC in collaboration with DG REGIO. The project implements a Preparatory Action of the European Parliament called “The economic competitive advantages and the potential for smart specialisation at regional level in Romania”
The support provided by JRC through this project attached great importance to the preparation and financing of quality smart specialisation projects in the priority areas identified at regional level. In this respect, all the steps of this process have been supported in several forms, from methodological guidance to workshops, technical meetings, training courses, studies, and appointment of external experts (Romanian and foreigners) to work together with the Romanian partners in various ways.
The two workshops "Technology transfer and the development of innovative products" and "Innovation Manager" continued the series of these actions, this time aiming to strengthen the competences of potential promoters of such projects with specific elements for:
- Increasing the capacity to commercialise R&D results and ensure a smooth transfer of technologies to market;
- Increasing innovation capacity in companies.
The target audience included a broad range of stakeholders involved in innovation and technology management: university researchers and leaders, technology transfer professionals, firm and cluster managers, Management Authorities and Regional Development Agencies.
