Watify, an awareness-raising campaign funded by the European Commission to stimulate the technological transformation of Europe’s industry, is organizing a matchmaking event on boosting interregional innovations and investments in tourism and sports in Lapland. This event is organised in cooperation with the Multidimensional Tourism Institute of the Lapland University of Applied Science and the Smart Specialisatoin Platform.

Objectives

  • to facilitate inter-regional cooperation between regional, public, and private sector
  • to understand the benefits and possibilities of joint initiatives and investment projects.
  • to learn more about the latest trends, best practices, direct EU investment funds and examples of successful investment funding in the tourism and sports
