Tourism Build critical mass, accessible tourism, destination management and custom-made digital services for product development, cruise destination, digital promotion, human capital to increase quality, upgrading, analysis of demand, strengthen research in tourism at Madeira University, information system on tourist profiles, innovative tools for the promotion and commercialization of Madeira as a tourist destination.
Sustainability, Management and Maintenance of Infrastructure Find sustainable solutions for management of recent growth in infrastructure, addressing the needs and also promoting innovation. The objective is to apply principles of bio-sustainability across a wide variety of sectors, which has implications in domains such as: environmental protection, territorial maintenance and occupation, green economy, quality of life and well-being, tourism and education.
ICTs Application of ICTs across other S3 priorities and to address societal challenges, increase regional attractiveness for investment
