High quality of life | The area focuses on technological and organisational solutions aimed at the development of social and human capital, ensuring access to personalized medicine and disease prevention, social inclusion and counteracting the negative effects of the region's development polarization and the implementation of social innovations. It includes innovations contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship in the areas of education, health, safety, work environment and spending free time. Assumed economic effects: increasing the attractiveness of the voivodeship as a place to live and develop its inhabitants, reducing the negative effects of the development polarization of the voivodeship, increasing social and human capital. Expected projects results: increasing the quality and availability of products and services in the field of education, health, safety, work environment or leisure activities, in particular aimed at meeting the specific needs of specific social groups, activity in the field of social inclusion. |
Intelligent systems in industry and infrastructure | The area focuses on technological solutions leading to optimization, automation, adaptability or autonomy as well as ensuring the security of processes related to the functioning of enterprises and infrastructure. It includes e.g. implementation of innovations in the field of: - management, control and monitoring of technological processes (e.g. pre-fault diagnostics and maintenance), - applications of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things in industry and infrastructure (e.g. in the field of managing relations between devices, machines or infrastructure facilities), - efficient management of material and energy resources (e.g. smart grids, energy storage), - improving decision-making processes related to the functioning of enterprises, - transformation of the economy towards Industry 4.0, - "smart buildings" and "smart cities". Assumed economic effects: an increase in the number of innovations contributing to the improvement of the functioning of enterprises and infrastructure. Expected projects results: increasing the level of efficiency, automation, adaptability, autonomy and security of processes related to the functioning of enterprises and infrastructure. |
Modern business ecosystem | The area focuses on technological solutions, processes and business environment institutions services that have a positive impact on the interaction between business and its environment. It includes, among others: - limiting the negative impact of economic activity on the environment (e.g. by reducing the amount of emitted waste and pollution, managing waste and by-products, striving to transform towards a circular economy, using renewable energy sources), - providing a comprehensive range of development services (e.g. provided by regional economic development animators or business environment institutions working for the development of entrepreneurship and innovation), facilitating access to capital, infrastructure and knowledge resources necessary for the development and increase in innovative activity of enterprises, - development of creative sector services in the field of creative activity of a utility nature, - improvement of access to R&D infrastructure and development of the offer of research and development works carried out for the needs of entrepreneurs. Assumed economic effects: shaping an environment conducive to conducting innovative activities in Mazovia and positive interactions between business and its surroundings. Expected projects results: improving the conditions for conducting business and innovative activities, improving access to comprehensive business support services, reducing the negative impact of economic activity on the environment. |
Safe food | The area is focused on providing high-quality agri-food products that are safe for consumers and the environment. This can be achieved, inter alia, by improving products and processes related to their production, processing, storage, distribution and disposal. The area takes into account solutions influencing the quality and safety of food, including e.g.: cultivation and breeding techniques (including precision farming), fertilizers, plant protection products, feed, veterinary drugs, machines, devices and tools for agriculture and agri-food processing, formulation of food products and improvement of technological processes, testing the quality of agri-food products, food storage and distribution (including packaging). Assumed economic effects: increase in the availability of high-quality agri-food products that are safe for consumers and the environment. Expected projects results: impact on improving the quality and safety of food products. |
