The peculiarity of Sardinia population and the characteristics of the regional innovation ecosystem will allow to investigate the relationship existing between "omics" sciences, lifestyles, environment and diseases. Example of KETs: BIOBANK and next generation sequencing; GENOMICS OBSERVATORY, silver economy. |
Tourism, culture and environment | Tourism, culture and the environment, together in of the S3 strategy intercept a growing demand in sustainable tourism as a source of just socio-economic development. The goal in the S3 strategy is to push the digital transformation to support this strategy. AI, Internet of Things, big data, augmented reality.. in the tourism sector strengthen the regional governance and bring competitive advance to entrepreneurial fabric affecting numerous stakeholder directly and indirectly involved. |
Energy Smart Grid | The intelligent networks, or Smart Grids, priority deals with the management of the different components of the energy value chain: production, accumulation, distribution and use. A special focus will be dedicated to enabling technology such as: production by photovoltaics, wave energy, bio masses; hybridization of storage technologies: hidrogen, Power to X (e X to Power), Vehicle to Grid e second life; distribution: energy awarenes and community, Virtual Power Plant, Digital Energy. |
Aerospace | The strategic lines of the Aerospace priority are: unmanned systems (drones) and civil and dual applications; Testing of innovative services based on drones (environmental and hydrogeological monitoring, fire monitoring, monitoring of transport infrastructures and archaeological-cultural assets, etc.) and on satellite technologies; microwave analog-digital electronic devices, non-contact metrological devices. Moreover, research and innovation activities related to the Einstein Telescope project |
Information and Communication Technology | ICT priority goal is to stimulate the development of solutions in the traditional sector and the competitiveness of the Sardinian economic system. Digital technologies applied to the traditional tourism and agro-food sectors; (Ecommerce,AI, remote sensing, smart devices and IoT, etc.); Logic - Mathematical modelisation; 3D; Crypto; Machine learning and AI; Cloud, Big data, Open data, Home care, safety and health solutions to make the regional healthcare system resilient; smart city; |
Agroindustry | The goal is the competitive modernization of production strategies of Agroindustry. Improve the implementation of product and process sustainibility by the means of advanced technology: traceability from farm to fork, qualitative characterization and valorization of the typicality of the territory; valorisation of production chains; certifications; animal health; manegement and reuse of by-products; food safety certification; precision aquaculture: |
