Environmental metrology and engineering for the preservation and sustainable management of natural resources. Environmental metrology covers a range of activities related to the measurements and the analysis of their results in the environmental field. The value chain takes into account terrestrial measurement technologies, from the production of the tools necessary for measurement to the associated services. Applied to the environment, metrology covers the analysis of air, water, soil and subsoil as well as biodiversity.
Environmental engineering covers all the tools and services devoted to the restoration and rehabilitation of environments, particularly aquatic environments, notably through the development of ecological sanitation and purification solutions. Nature-based Solutions (NBS) are fully integrated into this value chain.
