Service Examples

Mitch & Mates has the ability to count on BHIC for relevant training, interesting networking events, but more and more as a facilitator for relevant contacts in the market.

Mitch & Mates delivers fast implementable, perfectly scalable and creative products that contribute to patient empowerment. Mitch stands for matching IT in collaboration in healthcare for the benefit of all, the mates.

Pridiktiv is a smart and mobile platform that allows people from the healthcare sector to work together more efficiently. In this way, they spend less time on paperwork and other administration and have more time for the patient. We would like to make our mantra of 'Less paper, more care'.

The role of the BHIC is truly unmistakable. Thanks to the BHIC, we have gained so many opportunities for who we are and what we are doing and thus validating our product-market. The art of pitching was also raised.

On behalf of the AAL Association, BHIC Vlaanderen organized a brainstorm and hackathon in September 2015 to define needs from the healthcare sector and to develop solutions.
The first day, more than sixty participants thought about how ICT could optimize elderly care. After that, four teams were formed that started working on Hack for Health with the challenges. They had two days to work out a prototype, prepare a business plan and prepare a pitch. The final evening was presented to a professional jury.
