Description

Our mission is to take a step towards more sophisticated interaction design and excel in human-centered innovation in the industry. We are certain that now is the time to put human values and needs in the heart of Industrial Internet research and design for the Internet of Things and Cyber Physical Systems, in order to enable breakthroughs in intelligent, empathic technologies that would lead to Factories of Future. We believe this is the key to fourth revolution industry success. With these thoughts in mind, we develop a IHUB like an approach to the regional industry that starts with a deep understanding of human values, goes through a sequence of technological levels, and results in a new industry transformation. Scope. We expand research and use the best practices of EU projects in Manufacturing to support further industry-centered development of the Internet of Things. Simultaneous focus on the core values, evolving needs, and emerging technologies will makes it possible to reach the balance between the benefits of autonomously controlled environment and pleasure of personal decision making. Our vision is that enhanced cyber physical systems, exponential growth of data, and increased complexity of algorithms, will allow technology to become simpler and more valuable for people and industries. Connected devices will naturally adjust the manufacturing processes according to unspoken wishes, without any personal effort. Thoughtful technologies will increase the feeling of safety, improve health at work, advance personal productivity, and finally bring industry to new business models. I4MSouth engages different actors and stakeholders around technologies to be implemented in the manufacturing industry, focusing in the Industry 4.0 revolution and/or Industrial Internet. I4MSouth supports a four sides approach or strategy around: - Innovation support and Knowledge transfer. - Infrastructure and services. - Business incubation and entrepreneurism. - Funding opportunities. Strategy is performed also in four basic steps. 1. Technical Introduction of results and benefits to integrators ( ICT SME´s) and End Customers manufacturing Industries. 2. Assessment of promotion to fostering agencies (clusters, Technology centers and incubators). 3. Identification of funding opportunities for technology introduction (regionally, nationally and internationally). 4. Consolidation of the HUB, services and self-funding.

Nuestra misión es dar un paso más hacia un diseño con una interacción más sofisticada y destacar sobretodo en la innovación industrial pero centrada en el ser humano. Estamos seguros de que ahora es el momento de poner los valores humanos y sus necesidades en el core de la investigación de Internet Industrial y en el diseño de la Internet de las Cosas (IOT) y los Sistemas ciber físicos, con el fin de permitir avances en una tecnologías inteligentes y empática que nos conduzca a las denominadas fábricas del futuro . Creemos que esta es la clave para el éxito de la industria 4.0. Con estos pensamientos, desarrollamos un Innovation HUB como un acercamiento a la industria regional que comienza con una comprensión profunda de los valores humanos, pasa por diferentes niveles tecnológicos y da como resultado una nueva transformación de la industria. Alcance. Ampliamos la investigación y utilizamos las mejores prácticas de los proyectos de la UE en las fábricas para apoyar un desarrollo centrado en la industria conectada. Un enfoque simultáneo en los valores fundamentales, las necesidades continuamente cambiantes de la industria y las tecnologías emergentes hará posible alcanzar el equilibrio entre los beneficios de un entorno controlado de forma autónoma (casi robótica)y el placer de la toma de decisiones personales. Nuestra visión es que los sistemas físicos cibernéticos mejorados, el crecimiento exponencial de datos y la mayor complejidad de algoritmos, permitirán que la tecnología se vuelva más sencilla y valiosa para las personas y las industrias. Así los dispositivos conectados ajustarán naturalmente los procesos de fabricación de acuerdo con los deseos tácitos, sin ningún esfuerzo personal. La Inteligencia artificial entre otros avances aumentará la sensación de seguridad, mejorará la salud en el trabajo, promoverá la productividad personal y, finalmente, traerá a la industria nuevos modelos de negocio. I4MSouth involucra a diferentes actores y grupos de interés en torno a las tecnologías que se implementarán en la industria de manufactura, enfocándose en la revolución Industrial 4.0 y / o Internet Industrial. I4MSouth se apoya en un enfoque o una estrategia a cuatro caras: - Apoyo a la innovación y transferencia de conocimientos. - Infraestructura y servicios. - Incubación de empresas y emprendimiento. - Oportunidades de financiación. La estrategia se realiza también en cuatro pasos básicos. 1. Introducción técnica de los resultados y beneficios para las industrias integradoras (PYMES TIC) y clientes finales. 2. Evaluación de la promoción a agencias de fomento (clusters, centros tecnológicos e incubadoras). 3. Identificación de oportunidades de financiamiento para la introducción de tecnología (regional, nacional e internacional). 4. Consolidación del HUB, servicios y autofinanciación.

-A manufacturing SME  located in GRANADA that produce Medical Impregnated Sponges to Hospitals in 24 countries, was looking for a Zero Defect Management Solution that reduce shrinks in their production line
-We analyzed the industrial requirements in the field, competence and proprietary solutions and based on a ROI get back with a Industrial Connected prototype that solves the issue.
-We introduced FIWARE enablers and Homard BPM as BeinCPPS (I4MS) results. We provide Test and validation together with a digital maturity assessment service.

SMARTIE is an specialized project focused to cybersecurity in the smart cities that introduce new securized CPS and IOT platforms features.
