Minalogic is a global innovation cluster for digital technologies serving France’s Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

The cluster supports the region’s leading innovators by facilitating networking, fostering collaborative R&D, and providing companies with personalized assistance throughout all phases of business growth. The products and services developed by our members address all industries, from ICT and healthcare to energy, advanced manufacturing and mobility. Minalogic’s roadmap concentrates on 11 markets considered as strategic for our members: ICT, Healthcare, Energy & Environment, Advanced manufacturing, Agrifood & Foodtech, Aerospace & Defense, Mobility & Transportation; Finance & Insurance; Smart Cities & Buildings, Trade & distribution.

Minalogic was founded in 2005 and today boasts approximately 400 members, including 350 companies. Our companies are developing components or integrating solutions/systems related to sensors, cameras, communication, IoT and cyber-physical systems, data analytics and artificial intelligence.

The cluster has certified more than 586 projects that have secured total government funding of €881 million of the more than €2,2 billion in total R&D spending these projects represent. The 72 projects completed to date have resulted in 86 products (either on the market or in the process of being prepared for market release) and generated €3,6 billion in revenue.

Minalogic was awarded with Gold Label for Cluster Excellence for 2nd time in 2016 assessing of the high quality of its management and the impact of its activities, thanks to the cluster’s highly motivated, competent and committed team of 19 people.

Minalogic is founding member of the Silicon Europe Alliance. In the Silicon Europe Alliance 12 leading European clusters for innovative electronics & software technologies bring together the technological expertise and resources of Europe’s leading players in micro- and nanoelectronics, photonics and artificial intelligence three of the EC recognised “Key Enabling Technologies”. This “cluster of clusters” represents over 2 000 members (over 75% SMEs) and more than 250,000 jobs. This makes the Silicon Europe Alliance one of the biggest technology clusters in the world.

Pôle de compétitivité mondial des technologies du numérique en Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Le pôle accompagne ses adhérents dans leurs projets d’innovation et de croissance, afin de booster leur objectif de développement et de rayonnement au niveau mondial.

Les technologies, produits et services développés par les acteurs de l’écosystème s’adressent à tous les secteurs d’activités (TIC, santé, énergie, usine du futur...), et couvrent l’ensemble de la chaîne de valeur numérique, en alliant la micro-nano électronique,la photonique et le logiciel.

Minalogic is actively contributing to 2 linked national and regional initiatives related to Factory of the Future:

  • AIF : Alliance Industrie du Futur Minalogic is represented in this Alliance via the AFPC (Association of French Pôles de Compétitivité) and contributes espacially to the Working Group "Vitrines du Futur) by selecting the most promising solutions / companies in our region.
  • Collectif des pôles Industrie du Futur. This regional working committee gathers all clusters that have direct interest and activities in the topic of Factory of the Future. Minalogic brings there its specific expertise on all technologies & services for digitising the factory of the future.

Minalogic is partner as linked Third Party to the CEA to the FED4SAE project funded under the initiative Smart Anything Everywhere

Minalogic's contribution / asset are : participate in activities both about dissemination and reflexions on regional funding approaches and a sustainable European model thanks to its experience and chairmanship of the Silicon Europe Alliance.

Technology transfer programme EASYTECH


Easytech is a technology transfer programme of IRT Nanoelec powered by Minalogic and funded by national, regional and local public authorities.

Easytech targets SMEs from all activity sectors (espacially more traditional ones)

Client needs

Companies that want to integrate smart technologies into their products and processes. 

Provided solution to meet the needs

Easytech supports (via coaching and funding) innovative projects including digital technologies coming from Research Organisations.

The programme offers to these SMEs 3 services:

  1. Expertise: to help SME to go from functional specifications to technical specifications.
  2. Creativity sessions: Creative thinking to help SME to find new products, new services or to improve their process,
  3. Support to prototype development: Develop a demonstrator in partnership with a laboratory or engineering school. (Subsidy : up to 50% of the R&D partner quote – max 100k€ )

All allong the process RDV conseils are organized to answer SME questions (marketing and technical) and to establish trust between them and the partners. During these meetings project ideas are challenged with feedbacks.

To date Easytech supported more than 220 projects that led to 144 contracts, 14 patents and the realization of 150 prototypes.

Minalogic Business Meetings is the annual international B2B convention organized by Minalogic.

This event offers one-to-one international business meetings in a move to facilitate partnerships and business opportunities between technology providers and key accounts from Europe and worldwide.

The event was designed to help Minalogic's innovative companies looking for or developing an innovative product or solution in digital technologies (micro- and nanoelectronics, photonics and software).

The 4th edition in June 2018 gathered around 120 participants from 6 countries and offered more than 500 F2F meetings.
