Description
Description
Mission: To create HPC tools for companies
Scope: HPC4Poland objective is to co-create and provide HPC tools in response to the demand of Polish manufacturing enterprises.
Services: We provide access to comprehensive digital simulation services. Our services include computational methods, such as Finite Element Method, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Fluid-Structure Interaction. Our core services may include the following building blocks:
-mesh modelling,
-set up of the dedicated HPC environment with the access interface,
-optimization of computational algorithms (including big data),
-computation,
-access to area-specific software, such as Ansys, FlexSim, Altair Hyperworks,
-area-specific engineering suport in terms of defining parameters for computation and interpreting results,
-visualization of results.
In addition to the core HPC services, with our trusted Partners we provide support in the following areas:
-IoT services (connected devices, sensors and actuators networks), such as digitization of production lines, processing and visualization of IoT data, enabling federations of IoT platforms, bartering and trading of IoT data,
-interaction technologies (e.g. human machine interaction, motion recognition and language technologies),
-artificial intelligence and cognitive systems,
-augmented and virtual reality, visualization,
-broadband and other communication networks (e.g. 5G).
Moreover, via HPC4Poland a set of business development services is available:
-training and mentoring services in the area of digital technologies and Industry 4.0 transformation,
-innovation scouting,
-strategy development,
-access to specialist expertise and infrastructure,
-access to funding.
-projektowanie modelu siatki,
-przygotowanie dedykowanego środowiska HPC i interfejsu dostępowego,
-optymalizacja algorytmów obliczeniowych (w tym big data),
-przeprowadzenie obliczeń,
-dostęp do oprogramowania typu Ansys, FlexSim, Altair Hyperworks,
-inżynieryjne wsparcie dziedzinowe w zakresie definiowania parametrów do obliczeń oraz interpretacji wyników,
-wizualizacja wyników.
Link to national or regional initiatives for digitising industry
HPC4Poland DIH and its partners are engaged in digital innovation related activities on regional, national and international levels. We participate in development of National and Regional Smart Specialization strategies and support our government in the creation of strategic documents.
On the European level, the DIH coordinator is delegate (next to the Ministry of Science) to the European Commission’s Future Internet Forum focusing on European future internet projects and acts as national contact point for NGI.
On a national level, the DIH co-creates the vision and strategy for the Polish Industry 4.0 Platform.
On a regional level, we co-create the RIS of Wielkopolska Region and the development strategy Poznan 2030. Our offering is focused on Regional and National Smart Specialization areas and embraces the approach of local, national and European strategic documents, taking into account the key industrial areas originating from traditional economic specialisations and strengths of Wielkopolska Region.
HPC4Poland Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) has been launched in 2016 as a result of the project named Feasibility for cloud based simulation services hub to accelerate the servitization processes in smart factories, completed under the Innovation for Manufacturing SMEs (I4MS) initiative.
