Description

ESDALAB DIH is part of Embedded System Design and Application Laboratory (https://www.esdalab.ece.uop.gr) of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (https://www.ece.uop.gr) of the University of Peloponnese (https://www.uop.gr) in Greece. As part of a public Greek University, ESDALAB DIH is a non-profit organization.

The main goal of the hub is to provide local and European SMEs & Slightly Bigger Companies support towards their digital transformation and innovation by:

  • Enhancing their Digital Skills
  • Providing know-how on state-of-the-art technologies related to Internet-of-Things and Cyberphysical systems
  • Technology transfer, that will allow them to enter the digital era through novel services and coaching that will strengthen their position, both in the regional and the global market
  • Identifying and supporting cross domain business opportunities

ESDALAB DIH is part of the European Network of DIHs.

Ως μέρος ενός δημόσιου Ελληνικού Πανεπιστημίου, το ESDALAB DIH είναι μη κερδοσκοπικός οργανισμός.

Ο κύριος στόχος του κόμβου είναι να παρέχει τοπικές και ευρωπαϊκές ΜΜΕ και ελαφρώς μεγαλύτερες εταιρείες υποστήριξη στον ψηφιακό μετασχηματισμό και την καινοτομία τους μέσω:

  • Βελτίωσης των ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων τους
  • Παροχή τεχνογνωσίας σε τεχνολογίες αιχμής που σχετίζονται με το Internet-of-Things και τα κυβερνοφυσικά συστήματα
  • Μεταφορά τεχνολογίας, που θα τους επιτρέψει να εισέλθουν στην ψηφιακή εποχή μέσω νέων υπηρεσιών και καθοδήγησης που θα ενισχύσουν τη θέση τους, τόσο στην περιφερειακή όσο και στην παγκόσμια αγορά
  • Προσδιορισμό και υποστήριξη επιχειρηματικών ευκαιριών μεταξύ τομέων

ESDALAB DIH participates in several European, national and regrional initiatives for digitizing industry. More specifically:

  • ESDALAB DIH coordinates Horizon 2020 SMART4ALL Project (https://smart4all-project.eu), an 8,6 MEuros flagship project for boosting technology and business development in South, Eastern & Central Europe (SEE). Through SMART4ALL ESDALAB DIH offers via open calls funding of 2,2 MEuros to SMEs from SEE area.
  • ESDALAB DIH patriciates in the initiative REBRAIN GREECE (https://web.tee.gr/event/rebrain-greece), that has been initiated by the Greek government for supporting the digital transformation in the labour market.
  • ESDALAB DIH coordinates REBRAIN WESTERN GREECE EDIH (https://www.rebrainwesterngreece.gr), a consortium of 15 partners (shortlisted 5th at national level by the Greek government) that is candidate EDIH.
