Sensowave: technology test/acceleration/mentoring/commercial advice/internationalization

BIC Euronova has supported Sensowave with different services to help them to develop their products for industry 4.0

Sensowave is a technological company aiming to improve safety and efficiency in sectors like industry and farming by providing innovative solutions based on IoT (Internet of Things). Their professional skills include hardware design, app design, machine learning algorithms, opto-mechanical design.

One of their smart industrial solutions is "VardiaN". VardiaN is like a GuardiaN angel, keeping an eye on the worker location and activity, using GNNS and sensors that can be either on the smart phone of the worker or in the PPE. Platform of Personal Protective Wearables and Big Data Analysis: Early Detection and Emergency Management.

Another smart solution they have is Digitanimal for precision livestock farming.

SENSOWAVE needs:

-Testing their products in an international environment

-Customer relationships;

-Channels to market;

-Customer segments.

Having completed the prototype development level, BIC Euronova supported them when testing and refining their prototype in large-scale end users trials in a working test bed environment involving a minimum of 2 European countries (France and Ireland) while realising the business potential for their products simultaneously.

BIC Euronova mobilized end user ecosystems across different European regions, through its network (EBN), in order to identify and engage relevant end users in participating in the trials of the new services/applications. Partners located in many of these regions have excellent relationships in place with their regional agri-food ecosystems.The goal of this task is to show that the new services/applications are designed to work at European instead of national or regional level.

"Thanks to the testing stage we have validated our product (platform and devices). In fact we have sold around 150 units in different countries.

We have been conducting several meetings with farmers, farmers associations, authorities and distributors in order to collect their feedback to improve the solution. Algorithm and user interface adaptations were performed during the test stage. Improvements in the hardware are under review in order to design and manufacture a new version of our device collecting user experiences.

During the test stage around 500k samples of livestock animals’ data were collected"

BIC Euronova has given support to SENSOWAVE identifying key partners, studying the potential markets they have still not entered, and the appropriate distribution channels to meet demand, in order to define strategy and commercial efforts.

UBIKWA SYSTEMS (INSYLO product): key partners; channels to market; customer segment.

UBIKWA SYSTEMS has developed INSYLO, a disruptive solution that will change the way compound feed stocks are managed in the livestock farms. It is composed by a low cost device, installed on top of the silos, and a powerful cloud platform with all the services needed by farmers and his suppliers, the feed compounders. Farmers can remotely control the compound feed stocks and send the silo refilling orders by a simple click. Feed compounders have direct access to the stocks of his customers and get forecasting reports of future demand. With this data they can optimize the production and the delivering routes.

UBIKWA needs: self-assessment: key partners; channels to market; customer segment.

BIC EURNOVA has supported UBIKWA with an international market research; selection of the potential markets according to the product features; SWOT analysis of those chosen markets; overview of the country/countries situation; providing an analysis of competitors and suppliers, and an analysis of the barriers to entry encountered; providing the regulation in force of the field of the farming market.
