Exploratory workshop on synergies of territorial innovation and digital transformation

In the context of today's digital transformation, new forms of public governance are emerging. This mirrors a change that is being advocated in the context of transformative innovation policies to accelerate territorial transitions to sustainability.

This exploratory workshop will focus on the applied research necessary to support EU policies that facilitate these digital and the green transitions, focusing on the nexus of digital innovation and sustainability, through the lens of digital transformation.

The workshop aims to unite experts in the fields of digital technology, governance, regional and local innovation. The discussions and insights generated during the workshop will serve as a platform for the Joint Research Centre’s units for Digital Economy (T1) and Innovation Policies and Economic Impact (B7) to collaboratively shape future work streams by integrating efforts across diverse initiatives and projects.
