The The Knowledge Centre for Territorial Policies (KC TP) organises a dedicated session preceding the 2018 SMARTER Conference on the morning of the 26th of September.
This conference offers a comprehensive picture of the smart specialisation policy experience, including an evaluation of its early results, and highlights recent developments both conceptually and empirically. Particular attention will be given to implementation challenges and ways to address them, as well as to methodologies for impact assessment. In addition, the conference will explore how smart specialisation engages with global value chains and production networks, and how firms, regions and cities can benefit from relationships across the borders.
The first global workshop on Smart Specialisation worldwide will take place in Seville (Spain) ahead of the 2018 edition of the Smarter Conference.
The regional dimension of VET and adult learning and its link to Smart Specialisation
This event will focus on awareness raising on smart specialisation process which has started in Albania under JRC guidance. Organized by the Albanian S3 team with the support from the JRC Territorial Development Unit, the event will bring together major stakeholders of the Albanian innovation community.
