Description

The KTH Innovation Hub on Industrial Digitalization is hosted by the Mechatronics and Embedded Control Systems Division at KTH and we are also closely associated with the ICES Competence Center at KTH. The Stockholm based Innovation Hub is aiming to become an active core of the Sweden innovation ecosystem related to CPS and IIoT. We are located in the intersection between industry, academic research and education, as well as a multitude of innovation actors. As part of KTH we also have a large international network to leverage.

The Hub servces as a front desk providing an single entry point for a number of different services;

- Rapid Prototyping / Addative Manufacturing

- Testbeds

- Business Coaching and Funding altenatives

 

As part of the FED4SAE initiative, the HUB supports SME by coaching and funding Application Experiments.

The main objective of the Innovation Hub is to facilitate digitization of all industries in organizations ranging from SMEs to large corps within the Stockholm region.

The activities of the Innovation HUB are well aligned with the Swedish National initiatives for digitizing the industry. And we are in close contact with different of the Strategic Innovation Programs (SIPs) funded by Vinnova.

The KTH Research Concept Vehicle

Client profile:
Vehicle manufacturer and supplier, Software and Hardware vendor, Infrastructure provider and SMEs.

Client needs:
Many companies are now in the business of developing products and services related to automated driving technologies including improved vehicle and road safety and better road utilizatiom with and without automated functions. R&D engineers will need good testbeds for testing and validation for the developed solutions. 

Service Offered:
The KTH Research Concept Vehicle, a rolling research and demonstration laboratory, that could be a good partner for testing out your solutions. The purpose of the vehicle is to have a platform where research results can be implemented and evaluated in real-life.
