TecnoCampus is a technology park  based in a doble strategy: University + Business Park .

TecnoCampus technology park supports Mataró’s industrial fabric. It acts as an incubator for new businesses and hosts companies in the TCM2 and TCM3 buildings, which are both fully occupied.The business Park  is home to several companies and fosters entrepreneurship. In addition, there is also a conference centre(TCM4) for event with a capacity for 350 people.

The UNI4ME S.L. case

Client profile: Uni4me S.L  designs, produces and distributes in a digital way innovative fashion textile for school uniforms (smart textile, resistant and fashionable).

Client needs and provided solution: Uni4me S.L. took part in the InnoEmpren Program and was able of understanding the market, prototyping the digital platform and launching the startup Uni4me S.L. that has revolutionized the business model of the school uniform, its production and its distribution and which participated in the InnoEmpren Program.

The BIMYOU S.L. case 

Client profile: Bimyou is a digital SME that offers to corporate a digital tool for integrating all  different customer service channels focus on improving the management of all them Efficiently and effectively.

Client needs and provided solution: Bimyou S.L. was participating in our accelerator programe which allowed them to validate the digital tool and accelerate the turnover.

Prototype development

Client profile and needs: Innovem started their first successful product, Movme, in Tecnocampus' incubator in 2013. Movme is a technological biomedical device capable to register human articulation movements through multiple sensor. The data is stored and organized to generate smart reports useful for physicians and medical staff. The solution was commercialized through Retiatech, company participated by Innovem, until 2017, selling more than 60 units to Fisi(On) clinics, for the analysis of recovering process in car-accident patients.

Provided solution: With the experience obtained through Movme, Innovem has started to develop an improved version of Movme: Deltaqon. Including additional capabilities and sensors, highlighting cloud data storage and artificial intelligence analysis to help during medical diagnostic.

In the project development Tecnocampus has played an important role giving access to high technical human resources, networking and technological ecosystem. As an example Carles Paul, Tecnocampus professor, is a key Innovem partner and part of the company’s capital. He has played an important role developing mathematics for Movme processing. The project has also involved Xavier Font, Tecnocampus professor, to develop statistics treatment for smart reporting. During Movme’s development process Innovem has also worked with several Tecnocampus students.

Impact: In 2017, Innovem started a spin-off for industrial applications: Sigma Industrial Precision. In order to deliver a specific message and to avoid mixing businesses, Sigma focus his operations in industrial applications. The company has started to develop and commercialize a predictive maintenance platform called: Predictive-Sigma. The platform is based on industrial IoT and electrical data collection from industrial assets. This data is stored in the cloud and analysed by Sigma’s artificial intelligence.

During the development Sigma has worked with Tecnocampus students and with Innovem. Now is planning to start collaboration with additional Tecnocampus staff. There is also planned a pilot with Tecnocampus facilities to analyse electrical engines that manages the building ventilation system. For more information visit:
