Bron Innovation is a one-stop non-profit innovation hub with a clear vision to develop digital innovation, business and competence for our member organization, and provide digital competence in our region. It is a quadruple helix collaboration network for ICT and Digitalization; private companies, national agencies, regional authorities and municipalities as well as NGOs. Our members and their services are worldwide, however the office for Bron is based in the county of Västernorrland, Sweden. Our focus areas are Industrial Digitalization, Govtech, IoT, 5G and Digital information management services, in which we are running several types of projects and activities. In these areas we are open for international collaboration with other clusters around Europe and worldwide.

Bron is located at the strategic centre of the region’s development ecosystem. We work in close collaboration with university, R&D centres, science park, business incubators, industries and public sectors. It is regions biggest ICT cluster, certified by European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis, Berlin. At Bron we believe in sustainable networking and we maintain a diverse corporate network with partners and members from all sectors. We are devoted to increase knowledge and understanding of innovation and digitalization among wide range of industries, specially SMEs. We help SMEs in evaluation and profiling of their current organizational and operational status, in order to identify opportunities for development, growth and transformation. Then we offer direct coaching to create strategic plan to reach business transformation goals. We strive to find best digital solution providers who can implement the strategic plan. We assist member organizations to find and attract new employees with right competence. Bron is an agile organization, ready to adapt to new technologies. We are partner in regions first 5G infrastructure, which allows companies to step forward and test next generation technologies.

At Bron we regularly arrange seminars to promote innovative digital technologies. We also arrange workshops focusing on competence development in member organizations. We host northern Sweden’s biggest Hackathon to encourage creative and innovative ideas to solve problems in industry and society in general. One of the most important events for us is a yearly conference on industrial and public sector digitalization, which is successfully maintaining its reputation for over three decades and attracts people from across the nation.

Bron Innovation is a key stake holder in the county of Västernorrland in the area of Digialization supporting innovation, competece and networking industry and public sector in the region.


The activities of Bron Innovation are aligned with the regional digital agenda of Västernorrland, setting out how digitalization can contribute to sustainable growth, innovation and competitiveness for industry in the county, and Smart industry - a  national strategy for new industrialisation for Sweden (the national DEI-initiative).

Service Examples

Ecosystem development

Client needs: Kustfrakt is a part of the VTG group and works with transport and logistics. They have a number of vehicle owners/drivers who also own shares in the company. Today the organization and operation in Kustfrakt are mostly paper based. Digital platform and social media are not used for marketing and promotion. Finding new customers and keeping the existing ones are mostly done via personal contacts. Also, the whole process of signing contracts with customers to transport system optimization to ensuring deliveries is not standardized.

Provided solution: Bron and its member company Vojigo are working with Kustfrakt toward an overall transformation of their business model. The prioritized area of interests at the beginning are:

  • A change in their organizational ecosystem.
  • Digital marketing to attract new customers.
  • Create customer value and better integration.
  • Process development and optimization.

Business Development

Client needs: KC24 Larm is an industrial camera surveillance company. They have sales personnel and technicians who are travelling around the country. It is challenging and very time consuming for the central office in Fränsta to follow their activities and, integrate and synchronise with central operations.   

Provided solution: Bron meets KC24 Larm regularly and coaches them to develop a business model to optimize their sales process with help of digitalization.

Technichal service

Client needs: Norrlands Miljövård (NMV) provides cleaning services to industries and organizations of all sizes. A big part of their daily operations is carried out by part-time on-demand employees. Today, the scheduling and communication with these employees are done manually over telephone, which requires enormous amount of time from the NMV administrative personnel. NMV realizes that a digital platform to maintain these administrative tasks will help in better resource allocation, more organized operations and adapting continuous growth.

Provided solution: Bron, together with its member company Cybercom is guiding NMV to draft strategy and plan for an intranet. The intranet will allow easy communication and smart scheduling, discussion among employees, sharing company info and news, quick meeting arrangement, archiving of documents and many other useful functions.




Bron Innovation hosts networking sessions on regularly basis for it members in the region. Our flag ship is the annual Good Tech Conference, which is tha largest ICT and Digital conference in north Sweden.
