5th steering committee meeting

The S3P-Industry 5th Steering Committee Meeting took place in Warsaw, Poland on 14 of June 2019. This event was co-organised with the Polish Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology and offered the next occasion to further build the community of the S3P-Industry.

The S3P-Industry event in Warsaw served its growing community to meet its 21 partnerships and relevant European Commission services. The meeting in particular focused on the benefits and advantages associated with the involvement of the Central and Eastern European regions and countries. Furthermore, participants were invited to discuss the outcomes of the Joint Investment Day (Day 1), as well as any potential synergies with the new Strategic Value Chains (DG GROW), the ongoing developments of DG REGIO pilots as well as possible cooperation with EIT hubs & Interreg Europe.

Finally, the S3 Platform (Joint Research Centre, Seville) presented its most recent methodological work developed to support the 20 thematic partnerships currently supported by the S3P-Industry Platform
