The EU Industry Days were established in the spirit of co-creation, dialogue and cooperation with all relevant stakeholders. The programme will be once more co-created by the European Commission and by stakeholders.

The EU's approach to regional economic development through Smart Specialisation is gaining a world-wide following. The JRC organises the first global meeting of Smart Specialisation experts from five continents to discuss this participatory approach to economic transformation.
Vladimír Šucha, Director General, Joint Research Centre (JRC), and Kirsten Dunlop, Chief Executive Officer, Climate-KIC, have signed a collaboration agreement between both organisations, for an initial two-year period starting from the end of July 2018.
