Description

A (near) Zero Energy Building based on state of the art construction materials (insulations, windows, etc.) with smart sensing technologies that provide advanced and innovative technological testbed infrastructure. More specifically, the provided rapid prototyping & novel technologies demonstration infrastructure resemble a real domestic building where occupants can experience actual living scenarios while exploring various innovating smart IoT-based technologies in the fields of energy, health, security, big data, robotics and artificial intelligence.

Consisting a near-Zero Energy building the CERTH/ITI Smart House introduces the first house in Greece that combines enhanced construction materials and intelligent ICT solutions creating a future-proof, sustainable and active testing, validating and evaluating environment.

 

A variety of sensors, actuators and devices is installed and being applied in both R&D and commercial contracts, including but not limited to:

- Energy related IoT equipment (smart meters, dimming and on/off actuators, environmental sensors, occupancy sensors, smart plugs, smart appliances, photovoltaics, batteries/storage systems, etc.) that monitors the consumption, production and the conditions of the entire building while automated algorithms can support automation and/or multi-factor (occupancy, comfort, etc.) efficiency scenarios.

- Health related IoT equipment (blood pressure, glucose, oxygen levels, panic buttons, motion sensors, etc.) that monitors a variety of physiological attributes, and enabling the extraction of valuable data (such as behavioural patterns and physiological parameters) through intelligent processing towards preventing or timely reacting to situations that could otherwise lead to harmful or even fatal outcomes.

- Virtual and Augmented Reality platforms and sensor-based games that offer unique experience to different categories of users.

- Custom-made Robotics incorporating assistive living solutions that aid vulnerable categories of users (elderly, people with disabilities) towards facilitating their everyday life and commercial robots (ABB YuMi, COMAU educational robot - e.DO) to support the delivery of innovative applications (i.e. bi-manual assembly of small parts, educational robotics, minimal invasive surgery).

Ένα πρότυπο Ενεργειακό Κτήριο, βασισμένο σε τελευταίες τεχνολογίας δομικά υλικά (μονώσεις, υαλοπίνακες, κλπ.) με έξυπνες τεχνολογίες που παρέχουν τη δυνατότητα εξερεύνησης διαφόρων ερευνητικών αντικειμένων.

Το σχεδόν Μηδενικής Κατανάλωσης Έξυπνο Σπίτι του ΕΚΕΤΑ/ΙΠΤΗΛ είναι μια υποδομή που εξομοιώνει ένα πραγματικό οικιακό κτήριο προσφέροντας υπηρεσίες γρήγορης πρωτοτυποποίησης και επίδειξης καινοτόμων τεχνολογιών. Στον πρότυπο αυτό χώρο οι κάτοικοι μπορούν να βιώσουν πραγματικά σενάρια διαβίωσης, ενώ ταυτόχρονα εξερευνούν διάφορες καινοτόμες έξυπνες τεχνολογίες βασισμένες στο Διαδίκτυο των Πραγμάτων που προσφέρουν υπηρεσίες σχετικές με την ενέργεια, την υγεία, την ασφάλεια, την ανάλυση μεγάλων δεδομένων, την ρομποτική και τη τεχνητή νοημοσύνη.

Ως πρώτο του είδους του στην Ελλάδα, συνδυάζει ενισχυμένα δομικά υλικά και έξυπνες λύσεις Τεχνολογιών Πληροφορικής και Επικοινωνιών που δημιουργούν ένα διαχρονικά βιώσιμο οικοσύστημα για δοκιμές, επικύρωση και αξιολόγηση διαφόρων τεχνολογιών, προϊόντων και υπηρεσιών.

 

Το Έξυπνο Ενεργειακό Σπίτι είναι εξοπλισμένο με ένα δίκτυο πολύ-αισθητήρων που μετράει σε πραγματικό χρόνο σχεδόν όλες τις παραμέτρους που αποτελούν ανοιχτές προκλήσεις ενός σύγχρονου σπιτιού / χώρου εργασίας (ενέργεια, πληρότητα χώρου, υγεία κλπ.).

Η ρομποτική (custom-made καθώς και εμπορικά ρομπότ όπως το Yumi από την ABB και το e.DO από την COMAU) και ο σύγχρονος εξοπλισμός για εικονική και επαυξημένη πραγματικότητα αποτελούν επίσης μέρος των τεχνολογιών που χρησιμοποιούνται, και σε συνδυασμό με διάφορες έξυπνες συσκευές και καινοτόμες λύσεις (χρήση του γκρίζου νερού που συλλέγεται, σύστημα διαχείρισης αποθήκευσης ενέργειας - μικροδίκτυα κλπ.) εξοπλίζουν το κτήριο με τις πιο καινοτόμες και ερευνητικά υποσχόμενες τεχνολογίες.

The DIH and the organization is part of the Big Data Value Association (BDVA member) as well as active member of the German Initiative Industrial Data Space (IDS), which are main leading initiatives linked with European Policy Initiatives (i.e. IDS is linked with Industrie 4.0 in Germany).

Furthermore, CERTH (and the nZEB ecosystem) is actively contributing to EFFRA | European Factories of the Future Research Association, through its participation to relevant European & National funded projects.

Smart Locker System

Need:

Introduction to the market of a commercial solution for IoT-based smart door locking system. Provide locks that can be handled remotely in a secure and robust manner.
