As part of the implementation of the Digitising Europe Industrial Strategy a Digital Innovation Hubs Catalogue is currently being created containing comprehensive information on the digital innovation hubs in Europe to help companies get access to competences needed in order to digitize their products and services. The catalogue will give European DIHs a platform to communicate their expertise to potential customers by showcasing their services on a European level. The availability of information on 'who-is-who' will also create opportunities for collaboration between DIHs and stimulate a pan-European network of DIHs.

A consortium of partners led by TNO has been selected to develop the Catalogue of the present existing DIHs to create a database. This database will be used to build an online portal. During the first stage the emphasis will be on DIHs that meet the following three minimum conditions:

1.  Initiated under on a national or European policy initiatives to digitize the industry

2.  Receive governmental funding

3.  3 examples of services provided to clients (technology, business development and ecosystem development)

Comprehensive information on European DIHs is collected by the consortium partners using the national policy initiatives as a starting point to identify and assess potential DIHs.

In parallel there is an online survey open for spontaneous applications: DIHs initiated under regional policy initiatives, as well as other initiatives are invited to apply to be included by providing information on their initiative. All submissions that meet the minimum conditions will be included in the catalogue.
