Description

The COST Association and the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) organise the Joint Workshop on “The Role of City-Regions in the Achievement of a Low Carbon Economy” to be held in Brussels on 04 February 2016. The Joint Workshop aims at revisiting the importance of combining both bottom-up and top-down approaches to accelerate the implementation of Low Carbon policies. It will also analyse the framework and possible incentives so that innovations can be adopted in the broader market, ideally identifying and implementing best practices. The programme includes representatives from the European institutions, the private sector, scientists and researchers, and features plenary and breakout sessions designed to involve all participants' active interaction.
