The S3 Partnership Geothermal Energy 2.0 invites you to the following events:

  • 19 June 2019: Technical kick-off meeting of the S3 Partnership Geothermal Energy 2.0
  • 20 June 2019: Workshop "Geothermal energy: The regional approach - information, inspiration and activation in the field of geothermal energy”

The activities will take place during the European Union Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2019, and are kindly hosted by the Scotland House.

19 June 2019, 16:00 - 19:00: Technical kick-off meeting of the S3 Partnership Geothermal Energy 2.0

The event represents the first meeting of the partnership after the official approval by European Commission.

  • Partner regions presentation and expectations from the EuGeoReg Partnership
  • Introduction to S3 Energy platform by JRC
  • Introduction to the S3 Partnership of European Regions for Geothermal Energy 2.0 and to the one-year draft work plan by Regione Toscana
  • Discussions on the one-year draft work plan to implement activities within EuGeoReg Partnership and nomination of co-leading regions
  • Roundtable on regional policies to promote geothermal energy uses
  • Geothermal cocktail with poster session
